Estradiol Sprays

Transdermal sprays work by spraying them onto a small area of skin and allowing it to be absorbed in. It then makes its way into the bloodstream and there is a depoting effect when applied near fatty tissue that allows it to be done as little as daily. Sprays have similar efficacy to injections in terms of achieving higher levels and share the safety of transdermal patches.

The main downsides of transdermal sprays are that some users may have issues with absorption, and absorption tends to be lower than with transdermal gels therefore a higher dose is often required.
