Estradiol Gels

Transdermal gels work by rubbing them onto a small area of skin and allowing it to be absorbed in. It then makes its way into the blood stream and there is a depoting effect when applied near fatty tissue that allows it to be done as little as daily. Gels have similar efficacy to injections in terms of achieving higher levels and share the safety of transdermal patches.

The main downsides of transdermal gel are that some users may have issues with absorption, and spending 10-15 mins every day applying it can be impractical.
